Edna Marie Butler Wright the daughter of William Franklin Collins and Eva Ray Collins was born on Nov. 18, 1913 in Wayne County, IL and departed this life on April 18, 2007 in Cox's South Hospital, Springfield, MO at the age of 93 years and 5 months.

Edna was a homemaker. She was a resident of Ava for many years. Edna was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Ava. She was married to Herman Monroe Butler and he preceded her in death and later she married Cecil Wright.
Edna loved quilting. She made beautiful handmade designed quilts. She also loved gardening, cooking, camping, fishing and her dog. She was a wonderful homemaker and a strong independent woman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, three sisters, Myrtle, Pearl, & Florence, three brothers, Fred, Frank & Ed Collins.
Her survivors include numerous nieces and nephews, a good friend, Hulda Tipton and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside service is Friday, April 20, 2007, 2:30 p.m. at the Thornfield Cemetery, Thornfield, MO with the Pastor Wayne Strohschein officiating. Visitation is being held Friday at 1:00 p.m. before the service at the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
