EDWARD JOSEPH MENCL
Edward Joseph Mencl, 84, of Gainesville, MO passed away on April 3, 2013 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, AR. He was born on June 30, 1928 in Illinois, the son the Walter and Lottie Mencl.
Edward graduated from high school in Hinsdale, IL. On September 29, 1951 he was united in marriage to Lillian Kourim in Alsip, IL and to this union two sons were born, Thomas and Ronald. The couple moved to the Ozarks from Markham, IL in 1970 and have been residents of the Gainesville area ever since. Lillian past away in April of 2007. Edward worked for many years at Baxter Lab in Mountain Home, AR until his retirement.
Edward is survived by his two sons, Thomas Mencl of Georgia and Ronald Mencl of Gainesville, MO; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Lillian; two daughters-in-law; one brother; and one sister.
A visitation for Mr. Mencl will be held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2013 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel in Gainesville, MO. Burial of cremains will be private at a later date.
