Edward E. Stafford

Edward E. Stafford the son of Ottie Stafford and Nancy (Shipman) Stafford was born Feb. 12, 1927 in Roy, Missouri and departed this life Nov. 23, 2006 at the age of 79 years 9 months and 11 days.

Ed was a resident of Chadwick for more than 20 years. He was a farmer and a member of the Mound Baptist Church. On May 19, 1945 Ed and Winnie Marie Blakey were united in marriage at Goodhope, Missouri. Ed and Winnie were blessed with two sons. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, and fishing.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Ralph and Rupert Stafford and a sister Ruth Moore. Ed is survived by his wife, Winnie, of the home, two sons, Dale Stafford and wife, Sue, Billings, MO, Dallas Stafford and wife, Jana, Sparta, MO, four grandchildren, Matt Stafford and wife, Christie, Marionville, MO, Adam Stafford, Kansas City, Mo, Dusty Stafford, Nixa, MO, Joey Mills and wife, Jenny, Ozark, MO, four great grandchildren, Geoffrey and Katie Stafford, Jacob and Julia Mills, one sister, Barbara McKnight, Ozark, MO and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be 2:00 P.M., Monday, Nov. 27, 2006 in the Mound Baptist Church with the Rev. Ken Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Goodhope Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 2 to 4 P.M. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO. Memorials may be made to Mound Baptist Church.
