Edward William Weber, 95 years, 6 months, 4 days old, passed away on October 21, 2022 at his home with his wife by his side.
Ed was born April 17, 1927 in Maple Grove, MN to Edward Leo and Elizabeth (Ferrian) Weber.
He was a Merchant Marine, U.S. Coast Guard and U. S. Army Veteran and served in WW II.
On July 7, 1953 Ed and Evelyn Wokson were united in marriage at Rogers, MN and they were blessed with two children, Montana and Wyatt.
Ed was a retired Rancher and world renouned Horse Breeder. Most of his life was Horse Breeding working with customers worldwide, with many National and Inter-national Champions. In retirement, Ed and Evelyn together raised Irish Terrier Dogs, also obtaining Inter-national fame. His hobbies were working as a blacksmith and making custom knives. He also enjoyed hunting and writing poetry.
Ed was a Christian and a member of the Assembly of God Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two siblings and a step grandson.
Ed is survived by his wife, Evelyn; his children, Montana & Marty Phillips of Coon Rapids, MN and Wyatt & Kathy Weber of Pink Hill, North Carolina; two grandchildren, Waylon Weber and Salina Brown; three step grandchildren, Brenda and Sean Blum, Andy Phillips and Shelly and David Ulrick; two great grandchildren, Emily Brown and Wyatt Weber; five step great grandchildren, JoAnna Blum, Julia Blum, Constance (C.J.) Phillips, Alisha Sterling, and James Sterling; and Ed's sister, Lillian Havel.
Funeral services for Ed will be Wed. October 26, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO. Military Honors and burial for Ed will be Friday, October 28, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, 5201 S. Southwood Rd., Springfield, MO 65804. Officiating will be Pastor Gary Fry. Memorials may be made to Irish Terrier Rescue, P.O. Box 3542, Laurel, Maryland 20708. Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
