Edwin Lee Greene

Edwin Lee Greene, 70 years and 27 days old, passed away on April 10, 2018 at his home with his family by his side.

Edwin was born March 13, 1948 in Douglas County, Missouri to Henry Jacob Greene, Sr. and Mildred Irene (Swearengin) Greene.

Edwin enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family.  He loved his family and grandchildren more than words could say.

Edwin and Carol Hensley were united in marriage on July 22, 1966 in Seymour, Missouri and blessed with five daughters.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran and served during Vietnam Conflict.

Edwin was preceded in death by his parents, brother Junior Greene, sister, Evelyn Rae Hake and two nephews Bobby and Randy Greene.

He is survived by his wife, Carol of the home, five daughters, Lisa and Kenny Getman, Teresa Thorne, Amanda Brumfield and Coltan Coonts, Tracey Greene and Daniel Lakey, all of Seymour, MO, and Misty Taylor of Ava, MO, eight grandchildren, Darrell Thorne of Seymour, MO, Eric Thorne of Springfield, MO, Charles Bruton of Seymour, MO, Regal and Jayden Hervey of Ava, MO, Kia, Mia, and Skyler Brumfield of Seymour, MO, one great-grandson, Rowdie Thorne of Walnut Grove, MO, one sister, Norma Faye Jones of Ava, MO, one brother, Jackie W. Cornelius of Ava, MO and one son-in-law, Brandon Brumfield of Mtn. Grove, MO and  a host of other relatives and friends.
