Obituary
Edwin Lee Morpeth, 46 years, passed away on July 25, 2011 at his home in Ava, MO.
Ed was born April 15, 1965 in Yakima, WA to Lee and Judith (Ankarberg) Freeman.
On October 22, 1983 Ed and Kelly Lynn were united in marriage in Hammond Mill in Ozark County, MO and to this union four children were born.
Ed was employed with Southern Construction Co. out of Bradleyville, MO for approximately six years.
Ed was a Christian. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and drag racing. His joy was being with all his family and especially his grandsons.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Kelly Lynn in 2008 and his grandfather, Carl Ankarberg.
Ed is survived by his children, Valerie Brooke McCoy, Cory Elizabeth Bengtson & husband, Andy, Levi Tobias and Alicia Brianna Morpeth all of Ava, MO, two grandchildren, Dane Wilson and Dylan Walker McCoy, Ava, MO, one brother, William Carl Morpeth, Hammond, MO, one sister, Kathleen Lynn Lucas, Springfield, MO, his grandmother, Alice Ankarberg, Hammond, MO, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Ed will be Friday, July 29, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Ava Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, July 28, 2011 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family as a love offering.
