Elijah "Eli" Gonzales

Ava, Missouri

Elijah Duaine Gonzales, 24 years,10 months, 16 days old, passed away from an auto accident south of Ava on Highway 5 on July 19, 2018 in Ava, MO.

Eli was born September 3, 1993 in Houston, MO to Vanessa (Wichman) Lister.

Eli was working at  Campbells's Custom Butchering in Norwood, MO. He was looking forward to becoming a Butcher.

He was a member of the Ava's Eagle Lodge. Eli enjoyed hunting, fishing,

floating, loved helping anyone in need, making people laugh, being with friends and family and most of all making memories.

Eli was preceded in death by his grandma, Frances M. Keen, his great aunt Pat Shafer, great uncle Eddie Scott and good friend Duncan

Heidler.

He is survived by his mother, Vanessa Lister and Wayne Williams, a brother, Darren Roberts and his children, Astreea & Legend Roberts, and his fiance, Kellie Nelson and her children, which he called his own, Ethan & Jaden Nelson, a sister, Brandi Gonzales and her father, Rodney Gonzales and Brandi's children, a God son, Samuel Twyman and many other relatives and friends.
