EMMA FAYE OHM
Emma Faye Ohm, 92, of Gainesville, MO passed away July 12, 2019 at Good Samaritan Society in Mtn Home, AR. She was born September 4, 1926 in Osceola, MO to Robert Alvin and Clara Bell (Mayer) Ballard.
Emma was always a very hard working and self-sufficient woman. She worked for many years in the manufacturing of electric motors while raising her family. Even in her later years she maintained her independence and could often be found outside doing yard work and taking care of any needed chores. She loved fishing and trot-lining, catching those big catfish. She enjoyed baking for her kids and grandkids. She was a strong, confident, Christian woman who was loved and will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.
She is survived by one daughter, Shirley Sisney and husband Junior of Gainesville, MO; two grandsons, Mark Lane and wife, Nichole of Gainesville, MO, Jimmy Lane and wife, Mary of Shirley, AR; five great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Ruby Prier of Higginsville, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers; three sisters; one granddaughter; and one great-great grandson.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO with Dale Roberts officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday morning from 10:00 a.m. to service time. Burial will be in the Howards Ridge Cemetery. The family asks that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Ozarks, 701 Burnett Dr, Mtn Home, AR 73653. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
