Erik "Trip" Flores

Ava, Missouri

Erik Jason Flores, 44 years, 7 months, and 16 days old, passed away on July 29, 2023 at his home with his family by his side.

Erik was born  December 13, 1978 in Lancaster, PA  to Candance J. Weaver.  Erik was raised in Lancaster.

In 2005 Erik and Michele Lynn Coonney were united in marriage at Garden of the Five Senses in Lancaster, PA and to this union they were blessed with a son, Logan.

Erik was currently working his sixth year with Copeland in Ava. He worked in the main bearing dept. operating machinery.

He enjoyed music, motorcycle riding whenever he could, bonfires and looking through his telescope. He enjoyed being in the outdoors. Erik loved and adored his family!

Erik was preceded in death by his daughter Alexa Shea Coonney and his sister, Wendy Anne Flores.

He is survived by his wife Michele; sons, Travis Oster and Logan Flores and his fiancé, Raven; two granddaughters, Jessie and Riley; and his mother, Candy Habowski; other extended relatives and many friends.

Lying-in-state and visitation will be Tuesday, August 1, 2023 from 11:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO. His body will be cremated per Erik's request. Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home.
