ERMA IRENE EBRITE

Erma Irene Ebrite, 85, Gainesville, MO passed away on March 11, 2010 at the Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, AR. She was born on June 13, 1924 in Fort Scott, KS the daughter of Elmer and Nellie (Hannaford) Simmons.

On June 1, 1948 she was united in marriage to R.J. Ebrite in Salem, AR. Erma was a very thoughtful and caring woman. Even as a youngster she was a tender hearted person who always took care of and looked out for others. Erma was never one to have self pity. She always kept a positive attitude and a smile on her face. Although she was sometimes quiet, she was a very cheerful and sweet lady. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband R.J. Ebrite of Gainesville, MO; one brother Max Simmons of Illinois; two sisters Lorene Lipka of Kansas City, MO and Gracie Ellegood of Littleton, CO; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Nellie Simmons; four brothers Alva, Elmo, Gordon, and Joe Simmons; and one sister Alvea Simmons.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 15, 2010 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO with Wayne St. Ong officiating. Visitation will be Monday morning from 9:00 AM to service time. Interment will be in the Lilly Ridge Cemetery, Gainesville, MO.
