ERMA LEE LUNA
Erma Lee Luna, age 91, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2013 in Gainesville, Mo. She was born to Oliver Hart and Lou Hart on July 18, 1922 in Dugginsville, Mo.
She married John Luna in 1940 who preceded her in death 2 months short of their 70th wedding anniversary. Erma Lee spent most of her life as a devoted wife and mother. She loved providing for her family, travel, and music. She graduated from high school at College of the Ozarks in 1939 which remained a special place for her throughout life. She was a lifelong member of the Easter Star and the First Christian Church in Gainesville where she was a regular member of the choir.
Erma Lee is survived by 3 children, Charles (Lisa) Luna, Pontiac, Mo; Larry (Laurie) Luna, Highlandville, Mo.; Johnna (Tim) Morgan, Pontiac, Mo.; 5 grandchildren, Nick Luna, Megan (Patrick) Werner, Jabet (Matt) Wade, Caldwell (Kate) Morgan, and Blake Luna; 4 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is scheduled from 10:00 to 11:00 am, Monday, September 16, 2013 at the First Christian Church in Gainesville with services to immediately follow at 11 am. Burial will be in the Gainesville Cemetery. Arrangements are through Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Gainesville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent in her name to the Hart Cemetery or the Gainesville Cemetery, and can be left at the funeral home.
