ERNA MARIE STEHLE

Erna Marie Stehle was born February 23, 1933 to Raymond and Lula (Wolfe) Duckworth in Thornfield, MO. She passed away September 13, 2014 in Marshfield, MO at the age of 81.

Her brothers and sisters are Pauline and the late Ollin Lee, Alene and the late Lloyd Trent, Amos and Iva Jo Duckworth, Elter and Dorlan Lawson, Andy and Carol Duckworth, Carolyn and Robert Hannaford.

She married E.J. Stehle on September 10, 1949. They were married for 51 years and had three children, Ronnie Stehle, Debbie Schwab and Dwayne Stehle. Her grandchildren are Brian and Jeff Stehle, James and Ray Henning, Myriah Wallace, Amanda and Cameron Schwab and Dakotah Stehle. Erna was very proud of her nine great grandchildren Haylee and Cole Stehle, Sarah Stehle, Wyatt, Kaylee and Ty Henning, Raegen and Hannah Henning and Reeve Wallace.

Erna was a life-long resident of Ozark County until two years ago when she moved to Marshfield to live by her daughter. Erna retired after 20 years of service to Mar Bax shirt factory and another 7 years to Ozark County Health Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband E.J.; her son Dwayne; and granddaughter Angela Stehle. She will be missed by all!

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 17, 2014 in the True Hope Church, Theodosia, MO. Burial will be in the Lutie Cemetery. The family asks for memorial contributions to be made to the American Lung Association. Arrangements are by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
