Obituary

Ethan Frank Golay, 20, of Tecumseh, MO passed away on February 8, 2017 in Dora, MO. He was born Dec. 19, 1996 in Mtn. Home, AR the son of Timothy Golay and Melody (Collins) Golay.

Ethan was a 2015 graduate of Gainesville High School. He was a proud four year member and officer of FFA during his high school days. He earned certification for Artificial Insemination and was an A.I. technician for a short time before moving on to Assembly technician work in various businesses.

Ethan was a very kind, and happy young man and tried to live every day to the fullest. He loved spending time with his family and rarely missed an opportunity to help in any way he could. He would always make time for others when they needed help. One of his biggest joys in life was being a great uncle to his nephew Hoyt, just like his uncle Marlon had been to him. He loved goofing around and playing with his younger cousins. He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing and was often found competing with family and friends shooting bows and guns or seeing who could catch the most fish. He was very funny young man often joking and having lots of fun with all his family and many friends. He loved cooking for everyone and enjoyed hosting Christmas dinner for his mother's entire family this past year.
Ethan was a Christian and attended the church of Christ in Gainesville.

He is survived by grandmothers Rosa Maud Collins of West Plains, MO and Connie Faye Golay of Brandsville, MO; parents Timothy Golay of Midway, AR and Melody Golay of Tecumseh, MO; one sister Tabitha Ewbank and husband Justin of Gainesville, MO; one nephew Hoyt Ewbank; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
