Evelyn Alice Lawyer, 82, Flippin, AR, passed away on August 4, 2010 at Baxter Regional Medical Center, Mountain Home, AR. She was born on August 2, 1928 in Janesville, WI, daughter of John and Antoni Ertle Pluss. Evelyn was a loving mother and housewife who raised six children. She will be missed by all of her family and friends.

Mrs. Lawyer is survived by five children Paul Lawyer Jr. of Carlsbad, NM, Francis Davis of Souder, MO, Kathy Cole and husband Bert of Kansas City, MO, Don Lawyer of Sheridan, IL, and Terry Lawyer and wife Elise of Venice, FL; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; three sisters Betty Cooper and husband Ray of Flippin, AR; Shirley Davis and husband Bill of Riverside, CA; and Judy Cully and husband Charles of South Elgin, IL; and three brothers John Pluss of Wasola, MO; Frank Pluss of Souder, MO; and Charles Pluss and wife Kathy of Spooner, WI.

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Antoni Pluss; her husband Paul Lawyer SR.; one son William A. Lawyer; and one brother Elmer Pluss.

A Graveside funeral service will be held at 10am on Monday, August 9, 2010 in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Wasola, MO with Bob House officiating. A visitation will be Monday morning from 9am to service time at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
