Fern Kay Harger

Fern Kay Harger, 75 years, 1 month, and 9 days old, passed away on June 7, 2024, at Century Pines Assisted Living in Ozark, Missouri.

Fern was born April 29, 1949 in Michigan City, Indiana to Alva and Lorraine Marie (Melton) Harger. Fern was a loving sister and aunt, she enjoyed being with her family.

She enjoyed reading, and visiting with her friends and family. As a young girl in her teens she made a profession to serve the Lord, and enjoyed many years of fellowship.

Fern was preceded in death by her parents Alva and Marie Harger, and her oldest brother Alva Dean Harger.

Fern is survived by her sister, Joy Fay Myers and her brother, Dennis Harger; nephew Greg Harger and nieces Karen Wyatt, Susan Badertscher, Cindy Leech and Deanna Strelinski.

A memorial service for Fern will be Monday, June 17, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at the Gillis Place in Clever, Missouri. Immediately following service there will be a luncheon and all are welcome. Burial will be in the Ava Cemetery. Officiating will be Arlene Leszewski and Cheri Fisk. Memorials may be made to Century Pines Assisted Living, Ozark, MO.
