Flora Jane Anderson, 77 years, passed away to her Heavenly home on December 28, 2012 at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, MO.
Flora was born July 5, 1935 in Ava, MO to Leon and Golda (Klineline) Anderson. She was a graduate of Ava High School.
Flora worked on the dairy farm for years with her father and mother.
In addition to milking cows, Flora also enjoyed planting and harvesting the garden.
She was a Christian and a member of the Ava Highway Church of the Nazarene.
Flora was preceded in death by her father and sister, Fannie Lewis.
Flora is survived by her mother, Golda Anderson, Ava, MO, her brother and wife, Arthur & Marilyn Anderson, South Park, PA, a nephew, David Anderson (Kristin), Midland MI, a niece, Catherine Salay (Terry), Bethel Park, PA, great nephew and great niece, Luke and Grace Anderson and many other relatives and friends.
Services for Flora will be Friday, January 4, 2012, 2:00 p.m. at the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial following in the Ava Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 p.m. to service time in the funeral home. Offciating will be Rev. John Moles and Pastor Mark Hatcher. Memorials may be made to Gideon's International or Ava Highway Church of the Nazarene Building Fund.
