Florence Rantz

Florence Rantz was born Aug. 12, 1904 in Ozark County, MO and departed this life Dec. 27, 2006 at the age of 102 years 4 months and 15 days. Florence was the daughter of John Absher and Perisetty (Green) Absher. She was the youngest of nine children, all preceded her in death.

Florence was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved to have breakfast with her friends in town. She enjoyed growing a garden and working in her flowers. Florence always enjoyed visiting with her friends. She was a Christian most of her life.

Florence was preceded in death by her parents, eight brothers and sisters, and her daughter, Reba Jackson and son-in-law, Clell Jackson and granddaughter-in-law, Jan Bradshaw. Her survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Quentin and Voyledean Bradshaw, Ava, MO, three grandchildren, Don Bradshaw & wife Loraine, Patty McDowell & husband, Glen, and Dennis Bradshaw, many great grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, step great-grandchildren & step great great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. She loved them all.

A Celebration of her life will be 2:00 P.M., Sat. Dec. 30, 2006 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, Mo with Rev. Junior Hall officiating. Interment will follow in the Dyer Cemetery. Visitation will be Sat. 1:00 P.M. until service time. Family requests Memorials to the Gideons.
