Floyd William Graham, 77 years, 11 months, and 1 day old, passed to heaven on November 30, 2013 at his home with his family by his side.
Floyd was born December 29, 1935 in Longrun, MO to Wallace William and Effie (Tennison) Graham.
Floyd was a life long resident of the Thornfield community.
He was a beef farmer.
On January 13, 1956 Floyd and Marjorie Donley were united in marriage in Gainesville, MO and to this union two children were born.
He was a Christian and a member of the Hilltop Victory Chapel Church in Thornfield. He enjoyed working on the farm, coon hunting, going to the sale barn and visiting with friends. His joy was being with his family and especially his grandchildren.
Floyd was preceded in death by his parents and a great grandson, Luke Tompkins.
Floyd is survived by his wife, Marjorie Graham, Thornfield, MO, two children and their spouses; Randall & Pam Graham, Ava, MO and Brenda & Melvin Garrison, Thornfield, MO, two grandchildren & spouses; Brian & Stacy Garrison and Gina & Dustin Tompkins, four great grandchildren; Alyssa, Addison, Allison and Eli, one sister, Lois Graham, Ava, MO; nieces; nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Floyd will be Tuesday, December 3, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Thornfield Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Dale Roberts and Eric Hall. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Gideons.
