Floyd was born September 13, 1944 in Curry, Minnesota to Ernest Pew and Ann Riley.

Floyd was an Army Veteran and served during the Vietnam War.

Floyd Pew and Kathleen Gillespie were united in marriage on July 30, 1976 in Elko, Nevada.

Floyd enjoyed riding horeses, hunting, rodeos, construction work, and spending time outdoors.

Floyd was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Dan Riley and William Pew.

Floyd is survived by his wife, Kathleen, son, Floyd Wesley Pew, Jr., son, Ernest Rhodes, friend and caretaker, Lynn Call, daughter, Bobbi Jo Robinson and husband, John, son, Randy Allen Scott, several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, brother, Jim Rogers, sister, Lee Cheney, and many other relatives and friends.

Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Homes, Inc., Ava, Missouri.
