FRANCES YEAKEY

Frances Yeakey, 97, of Gainesville, MO passed to heaven on December 1, 2011 at the Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, AR. She was born on November 15, 1914 in Portageville, MO, the daughter of William and Emma (Pyle) Whaley.

Frances graduated from Bloomfield High School, Bloomfield, MO class of 1933. On September 17, 1933 she was united in marriage to Otto Yeakey in Bloomfield, MO. To this union four children were born. Frances was a homemaker. She loved her flowers and loved to garden. She traveled extensively throughout her life, but for the most part, she called Missouri her home. Frances was a Christian and a member of the Gainesville First Christian Church.

Mrs. Yeakey is survived by three children Eva Jean Frasard of St. Clair Shores, MI, Nina May Bailey of Woodson Terrace, MO and Ray Allen Yeakey of Tecumseh, MO; eleven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her ex-husband Otto Yeakey; one daughter Patsy Allene Bhushan; one brother Etsel; and two sisters Lorene and Lillian.

Burial will be private. Arrangements by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
