Franklin Eugene Losh

Franklin Eugene Losh, 80 years, 10 months, 22 days old, passed away on November 5, 2017 at his home with his family by his side.

Franklin was born December 14, 1936 in Sligo, Missouri to J. Lonnie and Virgie Ellen (Worley) Losh.

He graduated from Willow Springs High School in 1955. After graduation, he went to work for AT&T and retired September 1986. He served in the United States Army from 1958 to 1960.

Franklin was a Christian of the Baptist Faith.

On March 8, 1977 Franklin and Betty Rahning were united in marriage in Willow Springs, MO.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, football and working on small engines. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Franklin was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Randy Losh, three brothers, Orval Losh, Delmar Losh and Raymond Losh and one sister, Melva Losh Brown.

He is survived by his wife Betty, five children, Lynne Sheeler, Rogersville, MO, Michael and Tricia Martins, Littleton, MO, Robin and Lori Losh, Forsyth, MO, Ricky and Angie Losh Sparta, MO and Ranette Losh, Springfield, MO, brothers, Charles Losh, Olathe, KS, Joe and Kay Losh, Van Alstyne, TX, Steve and Violet Losh, Springfield, MO, and sister,  Mary Jane & Bill Broyles, Willow Springs, MO,  several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Memorial services for Franklin will be Monday, November 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Willow Springs Presbyterian Church in Willow Springs, Missouri. Burial of cremains in the Willow Springs City Cemetery with Military Honors. Officiating will be Rev. Diane Cooke and T.J. Torgerson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association or Hospice Compassus, Mtn. Grove, Mo. Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
