FREDA LANE

Freda Lane, 79, of Thornfield, MO passed away on March 12, 2013 at the Gainesville Healthcare Center. She was born on November 5, 1933 in Romance, MO, the daughter of Charles and Rena (Welch) Loftis.

Freda was a homemaker. She loved crocheting and spending time in her garden. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Freda was a Christian and attended the Romance Baptist Church. She was loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Rena Loftis; and three brothers, Clifford, Delbert and Delmar Loftis. She is survived by four children Carol Taylor and husband Rick of Spokane, MO, Donald Hudson of Gainesville, MO, Jamie Hudson of Thornfield, MO and Douglas Hudson of Springfield, MO; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two brothers Kenneth Loftis and wife Dorothy of Ozark, MO and Marlin Loftis of Nixa, MO; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services for Freda will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel in Gainesville, MO with Ron Pinckney officiating. Burial will be in the Loftis Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from Noon to service time at the funeral home.
