Frederick Allen " Fred" Haynes

Ava, MO

Frederick Allen Haynes, 64 years, passed to heaven on July 25, 2009 at his home with his family by his side.

Fred was born March 30, 1945 in Ava, MO to Roland and Florence (Barnum) Haynes.

On June 28, 1964, Fred and Doris Martin were united in marriage in Ava, MO and to this union two wonderful sons were born. Fred was the owner of Missouri Home Insulation Co. and also a farmer and a builder. He was a Christian and a member of the Hopedale Baptist Church, Ozark, MO. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter. He hunted in many states and got the opportunity to go on an African Safari with his brother, Richard. He was a life member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and member of the National Wild Turkey Federation. Most of all Fred loved his family and especially loved to share the outdoors with his grandchildren.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Max Earl Haynes and one sister, Betty O'Keefe.

Fred is survived by his wife of 45 years, Doris Haynes, Ava, MO, two sons and their spouses, Allen & Rachel Haynes, Springfield, MO, Casey & Rhonda Haynes, Bruner, MO, seven grandchildren, Caleb, MaKayla, Kylie, Chandler, Cooper, Kidron and Chloe, three brothers & their wives, Robert & Joanne Haynes, Kingfisher, OK, J.R. Haynes, McAllen, TX and Richard & Shirley Haynes, Linwood, KS, one sister & husband, Donna & John Dixon, Springfield, MO, many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Fred will be Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Ellison Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, July 27, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Terry Kindrick. Family requests memorials may be made to Ellison Cemetery.
