Gladys Mary Alice Partney, 77 years, passed away on May 17, 2015 at Columbia Healthcare Center in Columbia, MO.
Mary was born January 19, 1938 in Mansfield, MO to Eucla and Laura Ada Mae (Estes) Barton.
Mary was a resident of St.Louis, MO and was a retired Court and Police Clerk for the city of St. Louis for several years. She formerly lived and worked in Mansfield. Mary was a Christian and a member of West Page Baptist Church in St. Louis, MO. She also was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mary's passion was reading, especially mystery novels. In her earlier years she loved gardening, sewing, water sports, watching movies and traveling.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents. Mary is survived by two daughters, Margaret Partney, St. Louis, MO and Laura Jo Dial & husband, Trenton, Ashland, MO and one son, Andrew Partney, Jefferson City, MO,
two grandsons, Drew & Daven Dial, one brother, Jimmie Barton & wife Sandy, Ava, MO and other relatives and friends.
Graveside services for Mary will be Wed. May 20, 2015, 2:00 p.m. in the Mansfield Cemetery, Mansfield, MO. Officiating will be Pastor Oren Alcorn. Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
