Gary Frederick Miller, 61 years, 5 months, and 9 days old, passed to Heaven on November 8, 2015 at Ava Place, Ava, MO.
Gary was born May 30, 1954 in Chicago, IL to Frank L. and Viola Ruth (Gloner) Miller.
Gary was a resident of the Ava community for the past
20 years. He was a retired carpenter framer.
Gary was a Marine Lance Corporal Veteran and served during the Vietnam War from 1971 to 1974.
Gary was Christian.
His love was spending time with Farrah & Heath and especially his "grandchildren." He loved watching them play sports, ride horses, and playing dolls with the girls.
Gary was preceded by his parents.
Gary is survived by special friends and caregivers, Farrah & Heath Dalton, Ava, MO, Rick Huff, Ava, MO, Gary's "grandchildren, ReAunna, Jasmine, Alexis and Journey and many other friends.
Funeral services for Gary will be Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO with burial in the Springcreek Cemetery with full military honors by Troy Herd American Legion Post #112 and Marines. Officiating will be Pastor Robert Roberts. Memorials may be made to Salvation Army or Springcreek Cemetery.
