Gayetta L. Ewbank, 60, Gainesville, MO, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2010 at the Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House in Mountain Home, AR. She was born on November 13, 1949 in Enid, OK, the daughter of Samuel K. and Aline (Wheeler) Penix.

On July 20, 1973 she was united in marriage to Jon Ewbank in Mountain Home, AR. Gayetta was a homemaker and a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Gayetta was preceded in death by her mother Aline Penix. She is survived by her husband Jon Ewbank of the home in Gainesville, MO; two daughters Cherie White of Northport, FL, and Renee Trent of Springfield, MO; one son Jon Ewbank of Springfield, MO; four grandchildren; sisters Pamela Klinesmith of Indian Hills, OH, Peggy Jones of Indianapolis, IN; brothers Alan Jones and Samuel K. Penix Jr. both of Indianapolis, IN.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 13, 2010 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO with Bobby Jo Wade officiating. Cremation services are under the care and direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House; 701 Burnett Drive; Mountain Home, AR 72653, or can be left at the funeral home.
