Geneva A. Horn, 90, passed on March 16, 2014 at 4:20am at Hartville Care Center, in Hartville MO. Geneva was a resident of the Hartville Care Center since December 14, 2009.

Services will be held at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign, IL on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 1:00 p.m.

Geneva A. Horn was born to Arthur and Mary Hill on February 26, 1924 in Champaign, IL.

Geneva married Charles E. Horn July 26, 1942 and had 2 children.

Geneva worked as a Circulation Department Office Manager at the News Gazette in Champaign, IL, where she retired in 1989.  Geneva was also a member of the AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary.

Geneva was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Mary Hill of Champaign, IL; husband, Charles E. Horn of Thomasboro, IL; daughter, Marilyn Hardin of Mahomet, IL; and one grandson, Steven Hardin of Tampa, FL.

Geneva is survived by her son Mike Horn (Sharon) of Theodosia, MO; 4 grandchildren: Rick Hardin (Jeania) of Seymour, IL; Kelli Flahaut (Mike) of Thomasboro, IL; Heidi Willis-Wilson of Springfield, MO; & Tina Anderson (Tim) of Mansfield, MO.  10 great-grandchildren: Cody Hardin, Dakota Willis, Michael Slade Wilson, Shianne Anderson, Chance Hardin, Tristan Flahaut, Corbin Anderson, Morgen Anderson, Zachary Flahaut, and Logan Anderson.
