Genevieve Ann Bruner (Gene to her friends), 75 years, 10 months, 3 days old, passed away on November 17, 2019 at her home with her caregivers by her side . She was born January 14, 1944 in Brown Branch, Missouri to Monte Clinton and Helen (McDade) Bruner.

Gene was a patient of Preferred Family Healthcare of Ava. She enjoyed music, coloring pictures, and dressing up for Halloween. She posessed an honest and pure soul, a person never had to wonder what she was thinking. She will be greatly missed by everyone who was blessed to know her.

Genevieve was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, John and Willie Bruner, and one sister, Jean Morrison. She is survived by seven siblings, Clinton Bruner, Don Bruner, Chauncey White, Carl Bruner, Bobby Bruner, Clyde Bruner, and Hazel Moerschel, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and her family at Preferred Healthcare.

There will be a Memorial Service for Gene on Saturday, December 14 at 11:00 a.m. at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Ava. Officiating will be Pastor Oren Alcorn. Memorials may be made to Heart of the Hills Food Pantry in Ava.
