GEORGE NELSON BULLARD SR

George Nelson Bullard Sr., 88, of Zanoni, MO passed away at his home August 25, 2014 and is now in heaven with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was born April 21, 1926 in Rosi, AR.

George, son of George Lee Bullard, Irene Mooney and stepson of Cecil Mooney was a loving husband and father.
He is survived by his wife Cecile Bullard; his six children Sandra Longoria, George Bullard Jr., Ivan Bullard, Sarah Pardue, Jeffrey Bullard and Christina Grayden. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents George Bullard, Irene Mooney and Cecil Mooney; brothers Robert Bullard, Bill Mooney and John Mooney.

George served his country for 23 years and fought in World War II and in the North Korean War. After working for Pfizer in California for 21 years he decided to spend his retirement years here in the Ozarks.

He was a Godly man and he sure didn't mind wearing out his knees praying for his family and friends, one of his favorite bible verses was Acts 16:31: Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Amen.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 29, 2014 in the Smith Chapel Church. Visitation will be Friday morning from 10 a.m. to service time. Burial will be in the Smith Chapel Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Arrangements are by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
