George Twitty

George Alvie Twitty, 86 years, 6 months, 17 days old, passed away on  March 13, 2018 at the Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mtn. Home, AR.

George was born August 26, 1931 in Wasola, MO to Oliver Seaton and Florence (Smedley) Twitty.

He was retired from farming, but also worked as a road grader operator in Ozark county for many years.

George and  Lavonna McDaniel were united in marriage in 1957 in Ava, MO and to this union four children were born. He was a Christian and attended Oak Grove General Baptist Church, and he was baptized by his sister, Pastor Maxine Lund. His life was working on the farm with his boys.

George was preceded in death by his parents, one brother,  Stanley, and two sisters, Marie and Linda.

He is survived by wife, Lavonna of the home, four sons, Tim Twitty and fiancé Kim of Wasola, MO, Roger Twitty and wife Rhonda of  Forsyth, MO, Joe Twitty and wife Elaine of Pascagoula, MS, and Greg Twitty of Wasola, MO,  one sister, Maxine Lund and husband James of Seymour, MO, one brother, Trevis Twitty of Muscatine, IA, three Grandchildren, Michelle, Ceton, and Ashley, as well as many other family and friends who will miss him greatly.

Funeral services for George will be Saturday, March 17 ^th at 10:00 am at the funeral Home . Visitation will start at 9:00 am and last until service time .
