GERALD DALE PETERS
Gerald Dale Peters, 85, of Gainesville, MO passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Brookehaven Healthcare in West Plains, MO. He was born December 16, 1932 in Litchfield, NE, the son of Joseph Henry and Benice Irene ( Petro) Peters.
Gerald was a 1951 graduate of Gainesville High School. He was a veteran who proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 20 years before retiring as a Major in July of 1971.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews; six step children and several grandkids and great grandkids. He was preceded in death by his wife Nadine (Trivitt) Peters; his parents Joseph and Bernice Peters; three brothers Junior, Robert and Donald Peters.
The family has honored Gerald's wish for cremation. A Memorial Service with Full Military Honors will be held in celebration of his life at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at the Mammoth Assembly of God church south of Gainesville. All are invited to attend.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
