Gevene Maxine Cochran

Gevene Maxine Cochran was born on May 14, 1936 in Twin Falls, Idaho the daughter of Noble and Hazel Mitchell Smith, and departed this life on May 25, 2008 in her home surrounded by her loving family, she was 72 years old.
On December 31, 1952 Gevene and Raymond Lee Cochran were united in marriage in Oakland, California and to this union four children were born. Together they shared over 50 years of marriage. Gevene was a kind and fun loving person, enjoying traveling, camping, fishing, spending time with her family and could not pass up any chance to attend or watch a bull riding event. As a member of the Brushy Knob church since 1980 she will be dearly missed.
Gevene was preceded by her husband Ray, a brother Vern Smith and a sister Shirley Smith.
Her survivors include her two sons, Roger and wife Kim Cochran of Norwood, and David Cochran also of Norwood, two daughters, Rhonda and husband Disney Price of Theodosia, and Liana and husband Jamie Young of Seymour. Also surviving are 16 Grandchildren.
Services for Gevene Cochran will be graveside Wednesday May 28 in the Brushy Knob Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. No formal visitation is scheduled.
