GINGER MCGRANE

Ginger McGrane, 89, Gainesville, MO passed away on February 16, 2011 at the Gainesville Healthcare Center. She was born on January 21, 1922 in Bessie, OK, the daughter of Jessie and Elsie (Carpenter) Miller.

Ginger was a veteran having proudly served her country in the United States Navy. She was employed for many years in the nursing industry, working as a Lab Technician. She was a member of the Eastern Star, and had been a resident of the Gainesville Healthcare Center for the past seven years after losing her husband, Howard McGrane, in 1990. Ginger was a Christian and attended Gainesville First Christian Church.

Ginger is survived by two stepchildren, Linda McDermott and James McGrane, both of Connecticut; and one brother Ervin Miller of Lacey, Washington. She was preceded in death by her parents Jessie and Elsie Miller; her husband Howard McGrane; and four siblings, Elmer Miller, Emery Miller, Esther Bush and Donnie Miller.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 18, 2011 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO with Bobby Jo Wade officiating. Interment will be in the Gainesville Cemetery.
