Gladys Pauline Morse, 79 years, passed away on September 8, 2012 at Lawrence County Manor, Mt. Vernon, MO.

Gladys was born March 10, 1933 in Ava, MO to Lymon Perry and Lottie (Fleetwood) Freeman.

Gladys was a resident of Mtn. Grove, MO since 1989 moving from Sanger, CA. She was a Homemaker. In 1970 Gladys and Dallas Morse were united in marriage in Madera, CA.

Gladys enjoyed embroidery, quilting, smoking her cigarettes, drinking her coffee, people watching and baking cookies for her family and friends.

Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dallas, and one brother, Stanley Freeman.

Gladys is survived by three children, Larry Hale, Mtn. Grove, MO, Debbie Webb, Republic, MO, Terry & Mary Hale, Mtn. Grove, MO,
seven grandchildren, Bryan Hale, Orlando, FL, Justin Phipps & family, Fresno, CA, Aaron Paccassi & Family, Mtn. Grove, MO, Nichole Robertson & family and Andrea Rader & Family all of Springfield, MO, Ranee Rhodes & family and Amy Hale & Family all of Mtn. Grove, MO, 15 great grandchildren, two sisters, Elva Holmes & family, Gatesville, TX and Wilma Parsons & Family, Fresno, CA and other relatives and friends.


Funeral services for Gladys will be Thursday, September 13, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Brushy Knob Cemetery, east of Ava. Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to service time in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Brushy Knob Cemetery.
