Glen Orion Hendrix, Sr.

Glen Orion Hendrix, Sr., 65 years, 7 months, 18 days old, passed away on February 3, 2024 at his home in Ava, Missouri.

Glen was born June 16, 1958 in Lebanon, Missouri  to Glen and Lois Jane (Anderson) Hendrix.

When Glen was a teenager he began working as a mason with his dad.  In his early twenties he continued working professionally.

He was always willing to help anyone in need.  He never complained about his problems and rarely asked for help himself.  In his younger days he loved to ride his motorcycle and hang out with his friends. Glen loved to go hunting for squirrels, rabbits, and deer with his kids and grandkids.  He also enjoyed fishing.   He liked working with his hands and enjoyed playing pool.  Solitaire became his go-to game later in life, and his kids would buy him new cards every year because he would wear them out.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sister, John Hendrix, Gerald Hendrix, and Louanne Hendrix.

Glen is survived by his children, Ronald Allen Hendrix, Ruby Marie Hendrix, and Glen Orion Hendrix, Jr.; grandchildren, Isaiah, Logan, Rainie, Jennafaye, Jenny, Billy, Kalyssa, Tristen, Jasmin, Jadyn, and Drew; several great grandchildren; sisters, Pat Hendrix and Geneva Hendrix.

Funeral services for Glen will be Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 2:00 P.M.  at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Ava, Missouri with burial to follow in the Ritter Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. in the Funeral Home.  Officiating will be Pastor Oren Alcorn.  Memorials may be made to Ritter Cemetery.
