Glen W. McCollum, 82 years, 4 months, and 26 days old, passed away on June 2, 2014 at his home with his wife by his side.
Glen was born January 7, 1932 in Grantsville, MO to Kermin and Maree (Fanning) McCollum.
On April 21, 1965 Glen and Coleen Bunyard were united in marriage in
Rockford, IL.
Glen was employed by Chrysler Corporation for many years.
Glen was a Navy Veteran and served in the Korean War.
Glen enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors.
Glen was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Marjorie Rosson
Glen is survived by his wife, Coleen McCollum, Ava, MO, three children, many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Glen will be Saturday, June 7, 2014, at 2:00 P.M. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Walnut Grove Cemetery, Ava, MO. Military Honors are being conducted by the Troy Herd American Legion Post 112. Officiating will be Pastor Robert Roberts. Memorials may be made to Walnut Grove Cemetery.
