Glenn Kevin Kastning, 66, of Brixey, MO passed away peacefully on July 20, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, unwavering faith, and love for his family.

Kevin was born on April 4, 1960, to Patricia Lance Kastning and Doyle Kastning. Throughout his life, he was known for his strong work ethic, spending many years in highway construction where he served as a heavy equipment operator. Above all, Kevin cherished his family.

He is survived by his son, Jarod (Mischa) Kastning of Gainesville; his daughter, Mandy (Tyler) Headrick of Gainesville; and his beloved grandchildren, Bretlyn, Braylon, and Ella Kastning, and Jace and Jaxon Headrick; brother Doyne Kastning of South Sioux City, Nebraska, brother Bob (Lana) Kastning of Ponca, Nebraska, sister Irene (Larry) Lewis of Salesville, Arkansas; along with many nieces and nephews. His greatest joy came from spending time with those he loved.

When he wasn’t working, Kevin enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time visiting with friends at the local tire shop. In his early years he rode bulls and never lost his love for rodeo. He never met a stranger and valued the simple moments of fellowship and conversation.

Kevin’s faith was the foundation of his life. A devoted member of Souder Church of Christ he lived with a quiet strength and steadfast belief that guided him through life’s joys and challenges.

Kevin will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, kind heart, deep faith, and the love he shared with his family and friends. His memory will live on in the lives of those who knew and loved him, and he will be deeply missed.

A Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2026 in the Souder Cemetery. Officiating will be Tim Williams. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House, 774 Long St, Mtn Home, AR 72653. Arrangements are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
