Gloria Evangeline Harmon, 90 years, 8 months, 15 days old, passed away on February 12, 2018 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare in Ava, MO.
She was born May 27, 1927 in Thayer, MO to Samuel and Etta Mae (Conner) Fletcher.
On July 10, 1945 Gloria and Leo W. Harmon were united in marriage at Forsyth, MO and they were blessed with four children.
Gloria was a Christian and attended several churchs in the area. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed tending to house plants and her garden, cooking, and being outdoors. In her younger years she did some embroidery. She doted on her Grandchildren, family time was very important to Gloria. Her family was her world.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband Leo, her parents, a daughter, Janice Collins, and seven siblings.
She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Wayne & Ginger Harmon of Bradleyville, MO, Aleita & Leonard Harvey of Bearden, AR, and Roger & Melissa Harmon of Springfield, MO, eight grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, three siblings, Everett Fletcher, Frances Fletcher, and Ray Fletcher, and many nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Gloria will be Friday, February 16th at 10:00 AM in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO with burial following in the Goodhope Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, February 15th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Officiating will be Rev. Jim Lafferty.Funeral Service
