Grace Helen Amira,  81 years, 1 month, and 16 days old, passed away on August 31, 2023 at her home with her husband by her side .

Grace was born July 15, 1942 in Tipton, Missouri, to Carl and Esther Mertens.

She lived in Springfield where she met Bob Amira.  They moved to Houston, Texas where they married and had their family.

Grace loved being at home where she enjoyed gardening, canning, and living with nature.

Grace was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband Robert and their daughters, Allyson and Leslie.  She will be remembered as a loving wife and mother.

Cremation services for Grace are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Homes, Ava.
