Grant E. Cole, 73 years, passed to Heaven on February 22, 2014 at Mercy Hospital with his loving family by his side.


Grant was born May 16, 1940 in Tracy Creek, New York to Milton Clifton and Christine Estelle (Bennett) Cole.


Grant was a long time resident of the Isabella and Theodosia community. He was a Christian and a member of Thornfield House of Prayer. Grant was an Army Veteran.

On February 17, 1978 Grant and Joyce Anne Tate were united in marriage in Florida and to this union they were blessed with three children, Christy, Jeremy, and April.

Grant was employed by Baxter Health Care.
Grant enjoyed music, his family and church community.


Grant was preceded in death by his parents.

Grant is survived by his wife, Joyce Cole (Isabella, MO), two sons, Jeremy Cole (Ozark, MO), and Nathan Cole (Columbus, OH), five daughters, April Gfeller (Ashburn, VA), Christy Cole, Elayne Cole (Melbourne Beach, FL), Nadyne Leist (Atlanta, GA), Eve Cole (Forrest City, OH) 5 Grandsons, Micah and Joel Weatherford (Skowhegan, ME), Conner Cole (Ozark MO), Cole and Blake Gfeller (Ashburn, VA) and 1 Granddaughter, Karlie Cole (Ozark, MO).


Funeral services for Grant will be Saturday, March 1, 2014, 2:00 p.m. at the Thornfield House of Prayer, Thornfield, MO with burial in the House of Prayer Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, from 1:00 p.m. to service time at the Thornfield House of Prayer. Officiating will be Pastor Stan Collins and Rev. Harold Naegele. Memorials may be made to Thornfield House of Prayer.
