Larry Carpenter
Rockbridge, Missouri
Graydon Larry Carpenter, 79, passed away peacefully at his home in Rockbridge, Missouri, January 20, 2018. His life on earth ended after a long hard battle against cancer.
Larry was born July 30, 1938 in Des Moines, Iowa and lived most of his life in that area. He retired to Rockbridge in 2002 with his wife Rita.
Larry, known as "Carp" graduated in 1956 in Aviation from the Des Moines Technical High School. He was proud to have served his country in the United States Air Force from 1956 to 1960. He served as a 1501 FMS Material Commander. He owned a Phillips 66 station and worked as foreman at Firestone Tire while building a home and starting his own business, Prestige Auto. He loved to build and paint cars and do carpentry work. He was well informed on world politics through all the books he read, he was a very proud member of NRA.
His love for the heavenly father "Yahuah" and his constant diligent search for the truth is above all accomplishments. Through his constant search of truth through scriptures he began to know the true Hebrew name of the heavenly father "Yahuah", the true Hebrew name "Yahusha" the son of Yahuah. He walked with the "Heart of David" while on this earth and with his battle against cancer.
He guarded the 10 Commandments with all his heart and held fast to the testimony of the final and perfect Passover Lamb who willing gave all that some could live. He carried the mark of the Everlasting Covenant and will awaken to the blast of a trumpet and will have a seat reserved at the marriage supper of the Lamb. He regretted not being able to reach more lost sheep before his departure. We are amazed at the people he did reach with the time allotted him. We will not sorrow as those with no hope as this is not good bye but a simple see Yah later.
Larry is survived by his wife Rita. Children Teresa (Richard) Johnson, Larry (Diana) Carpenter, Melissa (Doug) Rothfus. Step-Children Teresa (DJ) Cline, Antony Nopoulos, Nick (Megin) Nopoulos. Yahuah is your guard. Yahuah is your shade at your right hand. The sun does not strike you by date, nor the moon by night. Yahuah guards you from evil. He guards your being. Yahuah guards your going out and your coming in, Now and Forever.
