Gwenda Jean Pleasant

Gwenda Jean Pleasant, 49, of Gainesville, MO passed to heaven on October 29, 2011 at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Springfield, MO. She was born October 5, 1962 in Mountain Home, AR to Gene and Edna Mae (Kindle) Bradley.

Gwenda graduated from Mountain Home High School in 1981. She was united in marriage to Danny Pleasant on December 5, 1981 in Mountain Home, AR. To this union three children were born. Gwenda was a homemaker. She was a very loving wife and mother. Gwenda was a Christian and a member of the Gainesville Church of Christ.


She was preceded in death by one brother Joe Bradley. Gwenda is survived by her husband Danny Pleasant of the home in Gainesville, MO; her parents Gene and Edna Mae Bradley of Mountain Home, AR; her three children Rebecca Hambelton and husband Alan of Thornfield, MO, Esther Strong and husband Chance of Gainesville, MO and D.E. Pleasant and wife Tiffany of Springfield, MO; one brother Gary Bradley of Mountain Home, AR; and very special friends Jerry and Frances McGinnis.


Funeral services for Gwenda will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at the Gainesville Church of Christ. Burial will be in the Howards Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5-7 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO. Officiating will be Halbert Smith.
