Hadley "Bud" Hutchison

Ava, Missouri

Hadley Dwayne "Bud" Hutchison, 83 years, 8 days old, passed on to Heaven on April 16, 2018 at his farm doing what he loved to do.

Bud was born April 8, 1935 in Champion, MO to Herbert and Ida Mae (Heath) Hutchison.

He was a retired truck driver and supervisor for Heath & Son Feed Supply in Ava. Bud worked there for over 50 years. On November 21, 1959,  Bud and Wilma Collins were united in marriage in Gentryville, MO by the Rev. Zim Simms and were blessed with one daughter, Tawnya Lea.

Bud was a Christian and a member of the Ava Highway Church of the Nazarene. One of his passions was working on his farm with his cattle and horses. Bud was known in the community for leading horse trail rides all over Douglas County. During the Missouri Fox Trotter events he and his buddies would also lead those horse rides.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Tawnya Van Dyne in 2008, and a sister, Jean Vrouvas.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma of the home in Ava, two grandchildren and their spouses, Justin & Sonia Van Dyne, Raymore, MO and Kelsey & Justin Main, Lee's Summit, MO, four great grandchildren, Lochlan & Breckyn Lea Main, and Noah & Micah Van Dyne, one brother and wife, Bob & Myrna Hutchison, Dayton, WA, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many many friends.

Bud's joy and love was being with his Wilma and his grand and great grandchildren! He was adored and will be greatly missed.

Funeral services for Bud will be Friday, April 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Ava Highway Church of the Nazarene with burial following in the Ava Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 19 ^th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO. Officiating will be Pastor Shane Weaver. Memorials may be made to the Ava Highway Church of the Nazarene.
