Harold William Bock, 90 years, passed away on June 19, 2013 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare, Ava, MO.

Harold was retired from Storz Instrument Co. as a Surgical Instrument Maker. Harold was a resident of Ava for a few years moving from St. Louis.

He was a WW II Army Air Force veteran. Harold and Dorothy M. Macha were united in marriage for 67 years and to this union two children were born.

He was a member of the St. Louis Horseshoe Association, and received many trophies and awards for his horseshoe pitching ability. Harold also enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Harold is survived by two children, Michael Bock, Ava, MO and Christine Hipes, Hemitite, MO, seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren,
one sister, Shirley Evola, St. Louis, MO and other relatives and friends.


Memorial services for Harold will be Saturday, June 22, 2013, 2:30 pm at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with Military Honors by Ava America Legion Post #112. Visitation will be from 2:00 to service time at the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Jeff Smith. Memorials may be made to Three Rivers Hospice.
