Harold Dean Davis

Ava, Missouri

Harold Dean Davis, 78 years, 11 months, 9 days old, passed away July 17, 2023 at home with his family by his side.

Harold was born August 8, 1944 in Yakima, WA to Clifton Dale and Lela Lynn (Shinpaugh) Davis.

He was raised in Douglas County, MO. He was a self employed brick mason in all of the the surrounding areas.

In 1962 Harold and Linda Maxine Miller were united in marriage in Ava at Linda's parents home, Mack and Rena Mae Miller.  To this union two sons were born, Kevan and Kraig.

He was a Christian and he had started in his early years attending the Basher Church. Harold rededicated his life in 2011. He had shared to family and friends to always be ready to meet the Lord. He never met a stranger and was always a friend to everyone. Harold use to enjoy fishing and hunting. His joy was being with his family and especially his grandchildren!!

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, his step mother, Grace Davis; his son, Kraig; three brothers, Leroy and Harlan Davis and Ronnie Pinckney.

He is survived by his son, Kevan Davis; eight

grandchildren, Stellena, Justyn, Brooke, Kolton, Buster, Jenna, Jessie and Wyatt; 13 great grandchildren and one-on-the-way; one great great granddaughter, Dixie; siblings, his twin brother, Gerald Davis, Donnie Pinckney, Lavonne Kay Carmickle, Laverne Karen Farris and Linda Presley; several nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services for Harold will be Friday, July 21, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO with burial following in the Dyer  Cemetery, U Hwy., Ava, MO. Visitation will be prior to the service on Friday at 1:00 P.M. Officiating will be Pastor Bob Miller. Family requests donations to the Dyer Cemetery.
