Harold Hall

Harold Clifford Hall son of Everett Hall and Orva Giffin Hall was born on July 20, 1928 in Douglas County, MO and passed away with his family by his side on May 29, 2009 in Springfield, MO at the age of 80 years.
Harold was an Electrician with Ava City Utilities in the 1950's and later moved to Springfield and worked with the City Utilities for over 20 years. After he retired he bought a Kenworth Truck and drove over the road into his 70's. Harold enjoyed rebuilding old Willey Jeeps. He was a member of the Electrical Workers Union and was of the Pentecostal Faith. In 1944 Harold and Stella Anderson were united in marriage and to this union four sons were born. Later in 1959 Harold and Glenda Walker were united in marriage and to this union two daughters were born. Glenda preceded in death in 2005.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Glenda, a granddaughter, Catherine Hall and one brother, Robert.
He is survived by four sons, Clifford & Shirley Hall, Springfield, MO, Larry Hall, Sparta, MO, Darrell & Joyce Hall and Jerry & Gayla Hall both of Springfield, MO, two daughters, Sheila & Butch Scott, Ava, MO and Tracy & Billy Hunter, Springfield, MO, 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services for Harold will be Monday, June 1, 2009, 11:00 A.M. at the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with Rev. Junior Hall officiating. Interment will follow in the Dyer Cemetery. Visitation is Monday 10:00 a.m. to service time in the funeral home. Family requests memorials to the Dyer Cemetery.
