Harold Joe Lyons

Harold Joe Lyons, 74 years, 3 months, 12 days old, passed away on February 2, 2024 at the Point Lookout Health and Rehab. at Hollister, MO.

Joe was born October 20, 1949 in the state of Washington to Gerald and  Gertrude (Whitaker) Lyons.

He was raised in the McClurg and Brownbranch community.

He graduated from Bradleyville High School.

Joe worked for years as a backhoe operator with the Texas Utilities in Azle, Texas. Joe and Brenda Stults were united in marriage in Texas.  His hobbies were; collecting coins, rebuilding cars and guns.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Brenda and his brother, Patrick Lyons.

He is survived by his two sons; Michael Lyons of  Protem, MO and Matthew Lyons and wife, Paula of Elkin, North Carolina; two grandchildren, Skylar Lyons and Avery Lyons;  a good friend, Ray Strain and his wife, Sheila; other relatives and friends.

Memorial services for Joe will be Friday, February 9, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO. Officiating will be Pastor Jack Clemans.
