Harold Gene Terry, age 72, was born September 10, 1937 to Herbert and Versie (Wray) Terry at Oakland, AR. He passed from this life on April 7, 2010 at Hospice Care of the Ozarks in Mountain Home, AR.

Harold spent many years employed as a lineman for power and telephone companies. He loved to fish, hunt and work on his farm. He always grew a large garden and took pleasure in keeping his friends and neighbors in fresh vegetables. However, he was most content staying at home sitting on the patio with his wife, Maxine. He was a devoted family man and enjoyed being with his children and grandson.

Harold was preceded in death by both parents and one brother Dean Terry. He is survived by his wife Maxine Terry of the home in Gainesville, MO; daughters Carmen Skiver and husband Brad of Mountain Home, AR, Elizabeth Green and husband Stephen of Arlington, TX; two sons Zane Terry and wife Kathleen of San Francisco, CA, and Max Terry of Northport, AL; one grandson Grady Skiver of Mountain Home, AR; several nieces and nephews, and one very special niece, Jane Magness of Theodosia, MO.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, April 10, 2010 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO with Dale Roberts officiating. Burial will be in the Lutie Cemetery, Theodosia, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Lutie Cemetery or Hospice Care of the Ozarks; 701 Burnett Dr. Mountain Home, AR 72653, or left at the funeral home.
