HELEN BACHMANN

Helen Bachmann of Isabella, Missouri went home to be with the Lord on May 20, 2009. Helen was born in Glasgow, Scotland on September 17, 1946 to Thomas and Norah MacDonald. After graduating Langside College Glasgow, Scotland she met Mike Bachmann of Saint Clair, Missouri while he was in Glasgow, Scotland during an unscheduled port for repairs during his time in the United States Navy.

Helen moved to the United States and married Mike Bachmann on November 20, 1965. She worked for a short time at the British Consulate in Saint Louis, Missouri. Helen and Mike started a family and Helen stayed home with their children.

Helen was an active member of Frontier General Baptist Church in Pontiac, Missouri. Helen loved the Lord and loved her Church family.

Helen is survived by her daughter Deborah and husband John Reynolds of Saint Louis County, Missouri; son Michael and wife Dawn Bachmann of Litchfield, Illinois; and son Kirk and wife Heather Bachmann of Troy, Missouri; also survived by five grandchildren Meghan, Madeline, Thomas, John, and Emma.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one infant brother.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at the Frontier General Baptist Church in Pontiac, Missouri with Ron Pinckney officiating. Interment will follow in the Pontiac Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 AM to service time at the church.
