Henry "Skip" J. Dougherty the son of Henry S. Dougherty Sr. and Marjore Fields Dougherty was born Jan. 6, 1948 in St. Louis, MO and departed this life Dec. 21, 2007 at the age of 59 years 11 months and 15 days.
Henry was a resident of Greenfield, Mo for the past 6 months moving there from Theodosia, MO. Henry was employed as a truck driver. On July 16, 1983 Henry and Deloris Mace were united in marriage in Granite City, IL.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Ronnie Dougherty. He is survived by his wife, Deloris, Greenfield, MO, his children, John R. Dougherty, West Plains, MO, Danniel J. Dougherty, Chicago, IL, Dahna Dougherty, Springfield, MO, one step-daughter, Letha Stamper, Theodosia, MO, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one brother, Donald J. Dougherty, Ellis Grove, IL, two half sisters, Ronda and Reanee.
Cremation services are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO. A Memorial service will be at a later date.
